When I first smelled this candle I hated it. Whatever I had initially thought the scent would be was immediately ousted by what my nose initially interpreted as some weird fake-plastic-leather thing. But then I BURNED it. I can’t describe what kind sorcery makes the flick of a flame transform a candle I thought I got ripped off on into something with a direct line to my pleasure cortex. The scent of the candle folds out into strong, yet delicate waves of rose and leather, creating a space that is both cozy yet atmospheric. Like the warmth of a small reading nook in the corner of a vast open library. There is a richness of florals and an antiquity of leather and musk. If Spireside ever dives into perfumes, this scent will be doused on me daily. It is my favorite reading candle. All of that is to say, if you buy this scent and it’s not what you expect at first, I found it initially very funky but well-worth the chance to show me who it was.

This one is strong but lovely! I liked burning it in a larger room rather than in my bedroom. I couldn't really smell the leather all that well and it just smelled like roses to me. However the rose smell is a richer and more luxurious note. I enjoy the color choices for the as well as the names. It makes the presentation so much better and helps set the mood. This is my favorite candle! The description is 100% accurate and the fragrance is truly magical! It's amazing while burning, but it still provides a delicate aroma when unlit. The wild rose note worried me a bit before I ordered because I find that artificial rose fragrance to be sickening. This is not that. The rose in this is subtle and blends beautifully with the scent of aged books and leather.

A book lover like me just needs to light one to take you away to another world while you read. Enchanted and Gothic Library are similar. They smell wonderful and fit the descriptions given perfectly. I love them all, but Enchanted Library is by far my favorite! Reading is my number one pass time and lighting Enchanted Library transports me to an old library filled with oversized leather arm chairs and ancient leather bound books, with a whisper of the scent of roses blooming outside the window. Enchanted Library is a special scent. It is strong on the paper smell with rose to make it magic. As suggested, I first purchased Enchanted Library as a wax melt. My wax burner can run pretty hot, so I found the paper smell to be strong in that form. I then purchased Enchanted Library as a large candle, which gives a more even scent distribution. I don't need to burn this candle for long to feel like I'm in a fairytale library.

This is one of the reasons I have spent over $400 at this establishment. Purchased this first based on the name. I've bought it twice, so I thought I would add my opinion since Spireside asked and it might help others. I prefer masculine scents, aldehydes, deep woody scents, earthy scents (I am a patchouli lover), and herbaceous scents. This is good. I like doing fragrance alchemy so burn candles of different scents together. I tried this with Ghostly Library and Ghostly Castle and it was great. I settled on Enchanted Library & Ghostly Castle I cannot describe the smell of any of these candles. This is definitely rose & leather, with a subtle something I can't place. It's fantastic.

I purchased this in the old tea light sample packs mainly out of curiosity, and now I am back for the full size or wax melts- I love it! The notes in this scent are so well blended that it is hard to pick out each one; in fact I never would have said that rose or leather were notes that I enjoy on their own. But trust, they work SO well in this candle. It is so soothing and perfect for an evening spent reading. Even the tiny tea light had great throw, so I know the full size will be exceptional. I can't wait to try it in combo with Gothic Library.

It smells very much of leather and roses. It was my favorite out of my order after all and will order this one again. I burned it throughout the week and was a bit sad when it burned out.

I purchased it back when this company was on Etsy under a different name, and I haven't wanted to burn it because it smells so good just sitting on my desk with the lid off! The smell transports you to an old time library, and is so great for taking a moment to relax when work gets to be too much! Amazing quality, and even though the candle is small, it burns slowly so you'll get your money's worth!

If you’re sensitive to scents you may not want this one. The leather scent overpowers the other scents. I wish the rose was a little more pronounced. If you have large open spaces, I’m sure this would be fine, but I wouldn’t recommend burning in a small room.
