Amazing fresh light scent. Not too strong just right. One if my favorites!

I did not expect to love this scent so much, but it’s really warm and pleasant. I’ve paired it with Voodoo Bayou and loved it—had to immediately go watch some of my favorite scary movies to match the vibes! But I also love it on its own, so there’s no going wrong. I love the little smoky and spicy notes. It also really manages to fill a room but isn’t overbearing, which I truly appreciate about all the spireside candles I’ve tried!

My dear friend gave me a care package and this was in it. When I initially opened it, I accidently brushed my nose against the wax. And from that tiny encounter, I got hours of this beautiful, balmy richness, filling my nose. There was something a bit reminiscent about this. It took me like a while to connect the dots. It may have been a bit unorthodox, but I ended up scraping a little of the candle and rubbed it into my wrists. The soy wax is so soft and buttery. I went about my business and kept getting these pleasant wafts dancing around me. I have to say that this is bringing back old memories of, Donna Karan's Black Cashmere. While they definitely aren't the same, they both have notes in common. Smokey, spicy, a slight leathery touch, resinous, aromatic and masculine. It ends in a soapy clean finish that just smells so nice. This also reminds me of certain fine soaps from India, and the middle east. Think Jannatul Firdaus. Hey Spireside! If you ever decide to create any fragrance oils, or balms, hit up yr gurl!‍♀️ I've never worn candle wax before, and I know I probably shouldn't... But we've all gotta go someday. Might as well smell like class in the casket. ⚰️

This candle has a distinctive, incense-like scent with an under layer of sweetness. Patchouli is one of my favorite scents of all time. The smoke-scent compliments it well for that full, Dragon's Blood smell. However, a sweet, vanilla-like scent is also present and keeps the candle from being too earthy overall and lends it a slightly mysterious, seductive feel. It fills the room without being overpowering and each element of the scent remains distinctive and vibrant while burning.

I can smell the candle iny small office or large bathroom when taking a bath. The scents blend do well together that I'm obsessed with this candle! You won't be disappointed. I wasn't sure I would love this smell, but it was clearly one of Spiresides best sellers based on the number of reviews so I decided to add it to a sample pack. This quickly became my favorite scent of all time, I had no idea what I was missing. The tealight scented my entire bedroom in minutes. It smells just liked I walked into a renaissance fair! To be quite honest, I ordered this candle simply for the name, I LOVE all things dragons. So, when my sample came, I was a little put off by the stronger, almost perfume-y scent upon first sniff. As I have learned making my way through both sample packs that I had ordered, fear not! As with a couple other flavors, the burning candle gives off a much more subtle scent than just sniffing the wax. I have to say that I don't think Spireside can make a bad scent! I have always loved incense, but it can be overwhelming in a small room, Dragon Queen is not type. She's a very pleasant guest and quite amiable, relaxing, but noble. Invite her in.

I’m typically not a fan of incense but wanted to give this a chance. I am SO glad I did! It’s got a great “Smokey” scent which isn’t at all overbearing but fills the entire room and then some. It’s rather mystical and relaxing, the kind of scent I want going on a chilly gray day. Also, the sample candle lasted for several burns and kept the same amount of throw throughout. I’ll be adding this to my re-order list!

This was the first candle I purchased from this company on blind Faith, and it's one of the best choices I've ever made. The smell itself reminds me of a sandalwood incense without that overly Smokey / fire undertone work just a dash of saltyness that reminds me of the ocean. It smelled like every magic/new age shop I've ever been in. The candle itself is also strong which is nice because it lasts a little bit longer than a cheap candle. I cannot wait to try the other scents in the sample pack.

If you're a fan of Nag Champa or Dragon's Blood incense, but not a fan of smoke-filled room, this candle is for you. I was worried it would be too heavy from a cold smell, but it smoothes out and lightens up a bit upon burning. Leaves a faint, sweet trace of exotic incense behind in the room after extinguishing. This one is definitely in my top favorites!
